Dr. Hinduja N. A. is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Agricultural Extension) at the Extension Education Institute (EEI), Hyderabad. EEI, Hyderabad functions under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, and is administratively managed by Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University.

She obtained her B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree and Ph.D. from Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University and her M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from Kerala Agricultural University. Her M.Sc. research focused on ICT initiatives, while her Ph.D. research focused on women’s empowerment. During her Ph.D. programme, she was selected for both the ICSSR full term centrally administered Doctoral Fellowship and the Maulana Azad National Fellowship and availed herself of the latter.

She joined Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension in March, 2018. She served for ten months as a Subject Matter Specialist in Agricultural Extension at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampally, Mancherial District. She has six years of teaching experience, including five years at Babu Jagjivan Ram Agricultural College, Sircilla, and one year at Agricultural Polytechnic, Tornala, Siddipet.

She has taught Agricultural Extension courses to B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students and agriculture courses to Diploma students. She has published ten research papers and co-authored a book related to ICT. She has also organised training programmes for farmers. Her areas of specialization include ICT in Agricultural Extension and Gender studies.
