53rd Management Committee Meeting of EEI, Hyderabad

The 53^rd Management Committee Meeting of the Extension Education Institute (EEI), Hyderabad was held in hybrid mode on 21^st April, 2026, under the chairmanship of Prof. Aldas Janaiah, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) and Chairman, Management Committee, EEI. The meeting witnessed the participation of 21 distinguished members, including representatives from the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, PJTAU, ICAR-NAARM, client departments, and other stakeholders. During the meeting, the Director, Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, presented the institute's achievements for 2024–25 and 2025–26, the Action Taken Report on the resolutions of the previous Management Committee Meeting, and the agenda items for deliberation. The Committee deliberated on several strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the institute's training and institutional capacities.

The Committee reaffirmed that EEI would continue to focus on its core mandate of capacity building for middle-level extension functionaries while collaborating with relevant organizations to improve training quality and documentation. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.M.Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI, Hyderabad, who acknowledged the continuous guidance and support extended by the Government of India, PJTAU, and all Management Committee members. In his concluding remarks, the Hon'ble Chairman appreciated the collective efforts of the Institute and emphasized the need for streamlined budgetary support to further strengthen EEI's role as a premier extension training institution.
